Julie's Quest

Hello, and welcome to my blog. My blog is about the trials and tribulations of writing, where we celebrate successes and commiserate our near misses. We tell it like it is here and will do our very best to help you on the road to being published and pick you up after the rejections (they will come!) Whether you are a professional or amateur writer you will find something useful here.

I hope you enjoy reading my posts and will visit again soon.

Jingle Bells

Well, the Big Day is nearly here. In 3 sleeps time all that preparation and whizzing round like a demented dervish will be over and Christmas will be what it will be. So what if you forgot the batteries and the cranberry sauce?

I do hope you've managed to find some time over this busy period in order to write, or at least think about or plan your writing. It's important not to completely let go of your writing routine now. I know it's known as the silly season but that doesn't mean you have to be silly about your writing. Although it's good to take a break and unwind as well as party, just a few minutes a day writing time can centre you and keep your writing muscles toned for when you're ready to go back to your writing for longer periods.

I'm taking a break from blogging until the New Year and so would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for reading my blog and merry Christmas and happy New Year. Don't forget you have the perfect excuse to leave the washing up to someone else as you secret yourself up to your room to catch up on some writing!

Happy festive writing

Julie xx
